His pieces of work are no short of masterpieces created from layers of tape. Mark started working with stained glass, while working with the stained glass he started using tape as a form of stained glass. he later moved on into using tape to create these magnificant pieces of work. you can read more about his work in the link below.

  • Leonid Afremov- Painter
I have chosen Leonid as my artist of the week, a little late yes but none the less. His art is very colorful and tasteful. While having a bit of abstract we still don't loose sight of whats there. The vivid colors draw ones eyes in and makes them wander about the piece. hey are beautiful and stunning pieces and is why I choose him for this week.

Week 2 artists

So this week I have another selection of artists, and its a strange variety. The artist I will spotlight this week is Nathan Sawaya who is artist 1 below. Nathan is a block artis, most of his sculptures are made from legos. I used to play with legos all the time when i was younger and when I saw this I couldn't help but to check it out. the sculptures depict real life stills as well as some interesting figures. I always thought when I was younger that it would be really cool to do what Nathan has done and I admire him for what he has done. So without further explanation here are my artists.

1) Nathan Sawaya,  lego art
